GUEST BOOK

I was a student in the gifted program in the Alton schools when Mrs. Judkins was the Director. She also was a friend of my grandparents. It was always a treat when she came to visit our classroom. She was such a nice person and so engaged with the students. She was a great advocate for the gifted program and made a definite impact on my education.

- John Davenport, Godfrey, IL

Three reasons I have never forgotten Mrs. Judkins, my 5th and 6th grade teacher: she lived down the street from us on Milton Rd. in Alton, IL; she and I share the same birth date July 2nd and it was she who informed me that our birthdate falls on the very middle day of the calendar year; and it was she who validated my creativity by quietly pulling me aside one day and saying 'listen, it's clear you're smart across the board - you'll do fine wherever you land. But you also clearly have a talent in the arts and if you hope to be happy in life, you won't turn your back on those talents.'

- Mark Bacus, Alton, IL

It was a pleasure for Ms. Judkins to be a resident with Savannah Commons for so many years. She will always have a special place in our hearts. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Love, The Family and Staff of Savannah Commons

- Joyce Crowder, Savannah, GA

Such a beautiful sweet lady. I am so sorry for your family loss. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
